Ptilinopus cinctus (Temminck, 1809)

Banded Fruit Dove, Ptilinopus cinctus, is a pigeon of Bali and the Lesser Sundas in Australasia. It breeds in rainforest and wooded hillsides, and is often found high in the canopy of fig trees and other fruiting forest plants. Its plumage is marked by a white head, neck and upper breast, a dark back and upperwing, a grey rump, a black tail with a broad grey tip, and grey underparts set off from the white head. It also has a black band across the breast.
