Banded Yellow Robin, Gennaeodryas placens, is a bird in the Australasian robin family Petroicidae. It occurs in Australasia on Batanta in the Raja Ampat Islands, north-west of New Guinea, and at scattered sites in New Guinea, including Bird's Neck, the Weyland and Adelbert mountains, the Eastern Range and south-east New Guinea. It is associated with moist lowland forest and moist montane forest. First described in 1879 by Ramsay, it has no recognised subspecies.
