Banggai Fruit Dove, Ptilinopus subgularis, is a bird of the Banggai Islands in Indonesia, where it lives in subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests. It is a member of the Columbidae family and was once placed in Ptilinopus. The bird is also known as the maroon-chinned fruit dove. Its most useful field marks are the maroon chin and the maroon base to the yellow bill. It is threatened by habitat loss.
