Bannerman's Buzzard

Bannerman's Buzzard (Buteo bannermani) is a medium-sized bird of prey found in the highlands of Ethiopia. It has a distinctive plumage with a dark brown upper body and a white underbelly, along with a barred tail. This species is known for its soaring flight and keen eyesight, which it uses to hunt small mammals, birds, and insects. Bannerman's Buzzard is typically found in open grasslands, montane forests, and rocky areas, where it can often be seen perched on exposed branches or cliffs. Although not much is known about its population trends, it is believed to be relatively stable within its limited range.
