Bannerman's Turaco, Tauraco bannermani, is a turaco of montane forest in north-west Cameroon. It is found in the Bamenda Highlands, with further records from the Massif du Mbam and other wooded mountain remnants in the Western High Plateau. The bird is tied to forested uplands and keeps to areas where tall trees remain. It was first described in 1923 by George Latimer Bates, and its name commemorates the ornithologist David Armitage Bannerman.
