Bare-eyed Pigeon, Patagioenas corensis, is a pigeon of the Caribbean coasts of Colombia and Venezuela, and of the Netherlands Antilles. It belongs to the family Columbidae and was described by Jacquin in 1784. Its breeding range covers Colombia, Venezuela and the Netherlands Antilles. The species is monophyletic. It is also known from Aruba, Curaçao, Bonaire, Margarita and Blanquilla, and has been introduced to Saint Martin. It lives in dry thorn scrub, cactus and acacia country, and also uses mangroves and cultivated land.
