Bare-eyed Thrush, Turdus tephronotus, is a thrush of dry savanna and subtropical or tropical dry shrubland in Ethiopia, Somalia, Kenya and Tanzania. It breeds across this African range, from Ethiopia and central Somalia through Kenya to central Tanzania, and does so in the rainy season. Cabanis described the species in 1878. It belongs to the family Turdidae within the order Passeriformes.
