Bare-necked Fruitcrow, Gymnoderus foetidus, is a bird of Amazonia in South America and belongs to the cotinga family. It is the only member of Gymnoderus and was first described by Linnaeus in 1758. Its range lies across much of the Amazon Basin, with humid forest as its main home, especially along rivers and around lakes. The bird is notable for the bare skin on its lower face and neck, which is blue or bluish white and hangs in folds, more strongly in males than females.
