Barusan Cuckoo-Dove, Macropygia modiglianii, is a pigeon in the Columbidae family that breeds on western Sumatran islands, excluding Enggano. It occurs on Nias, the Mentawai Islands and Simeulue, with each of the three recognised subspecies tied to one of those islands. Salvadori described the species in 1887. It was once treated as part of the ruddy cuckoo-dove, but a 2016 acoustic study led to its recognition as a separate species.
