Bean Goose

Bean Geese breed in tundra and taiga habitats of northern Europe and Asia, and migrate to wetlands, grasslands, and agricultural fields in temperate regions during winter. They are herbivorous, feeding on grasses, grains, and aquatic plants. The conservation status of the Bean Goose is Least Concern according to the IUCN Red List, although some populations are declining due to habitat loss and hunting pressure.
