Belding's Yellowthroat, Geothlypis beldingi, is a passerine of Baja California in Middle America and belongs to the New World warblers. It was first described by Ridgway in 1882. This bird is tied to desert oases, especially freshwater marshes with cattail, common reed and similar growth. It also occurs in human-made places such as sewage ponds, golf courses and orchards. The more northerly form is found between near San Ignacio and near San Javier, while the nominate race ranges from La Paz to Cabo San Lucas. It is a bird of Mexico and is endemic to the country.
