The Bermuda Hawk, scientifically known as Bermuteo avivorus, is a medium-sized bird of prey endemic to the islands of Bermuda. This raptor is known for its striking plumage and impressive hunting abilities. With a wingspan of approximately 90-110 centimeters, the Bermuda Hawk primarily preys on small birds, lizards, and insects. Its distinctive call can often be heard as it soars over the island's diverse habitats, including woodlands, marshes, and coastal areas. Unfortunately, the Bermuda Hawk is currently facing threats from habitat loss and human disturbance, leading to its classification as Vulnerable on the IUCN Red List.
