Biak Paradise Kingfisher, Tanysiptera riedelii, is a kingfisher of the island of Biak in Australasia, within the Geelvink Bay islands off north-west New Guinea. It is confined to forest on that island. The bird is marked by a bright turquoise-blue upper body, white underparts and tail streamers, with a red bill. The two middle tail feathers are much lengthened and end in bare shafts that broaden into racket-shaped tips. It was described by Verreaux, J, 1866.
