Bicolored Antvireo, Dysithamnus occidentalis, is a bird of the Andes in south-west Colombia and northern and eastern Ecuador, with a separate presence on the eastern slope in Ecuador and Peru. It was first described in 1923. It belongs to the antbird family and is placed in Passeriformes. The species lives in the understorey of humid montane evergreen forest, often where trees have fallen or slopes have slipped open the canopy. Its range is broken into two parts, with the northern population on the Pacific side and the other on the eastern side of the Andes.
