Black-bellied Sunbird, Cinnyris nectarinioides, is a sunbird found in Africa, with breeding recorded in eastern Africa. It lives in savannah, wetlands and other freshwater habitats on land. Two subspecies are recognised: erlangeri, the smaller form, occurs in Ethiopia, Somalia and Kenya, while nectarinioides is the larger form and is found in Kenya and Tanzania. The species was described by Richmond in 1897. It is resident throughout the year and is also known as the spiderhunter.
