Black-belted Flowerpecker, Dicaeum haematostictum, is a bird of the West Visayas in the western Philippines, breeding in the Oriental Region. It belongs to the flowerpecker family and was described by Sharpe in 1876. It is found on Panay, Negros and Guimaras, and lives in tropical moist lowland forest up to 1,000 metres above sea level. It uses primary and secondary forest, and also visits cultivated areas and coconut plantations. It is marked by a black band and a much broader red area on the chest.
