Black-bibbed Cicadabird Edolisoma mindanense is a bird of the Philippines, where it breeds across most of the archipelago except the West Visayas and the Palawan group. It belongs to the cuckooshrike family and is tied to tropical moist lowland forest, including secondary growth, up to 1,000 metres. It is a hard bird to notice and is often quiet, sometimes appearing alone or in mixed flocks. Males show the black bib that gives the bird its name, while females are paler and vary by subspecies.
