Black-billed Hanging Parrot, Loriculus bonapartei, is a parrot of the Sulu Archipelago in the southern Philippines, where it breeds in the Oriental Region. It was described by Souancé in 1856 and belongs to the Psittaculidae. It is a small forest bird with a black bill, and it was once treated as part of the Philippine hanging parrot before being separated on the basis of its different form. It occurs in tropical lowland forest, forest edges, bushy places, coconut plantations and bamboo stands.
