Black-breasted Gnateater, Conopophaga snethlageae, is a passerine in the gnateater family and occurs in central and east-central Amazonian Brazil. It was described by Berlepsch in 1912. Its breeding range is in South America, within c, ec Amazonian Brazil. Two subspecies are recognised: C. s. snethlageae from central Brazil and C. s. pallida from south-east Amazonian Brazil.
