Black-capped Speirops, Zosterops lugubris, is a passerine in the family Zosteropidae, the white-eyes. It occurs in Africa on São Tomé in the south-central Gulf of Guinea Islands, where it breeds. Described by Hartlaub in 1848, it is part of the white-eye group within the order Passeriformes.
