Black-faced Laughingthrush Trochalopteron affine is a bird of the Eastern Himalayas and nearby parts of south-east Asia, with its breeding range running from eastern Nepal east to Arunachal Pradesh in India, then on to Myanmar, Bhutan and south-eastern Tibet, as well as scattered populations in continental south-east Asia. It belongs to the family Leiothrichidae. Its presence is also recorded across the Himalayas to north-west Vietnam.
