Black-headed Penduline Tit, Remiz macronyx, is a bird of the Penduline Tits in the family Remizidae, breeding in central Asia. It lives in reed beds beside lakes and rivers, and its range is broken up rather than continuous. It is one of the least well documented birds in its genus and among the least known birds of central Asia. Four subspecies are recognised, with forms recorded from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Afghanistan and Iran.
