Black-naped Fruit Dove

The Black-naped Fruit Dove, also known as the Black-headed Fruit Dove, is a species of fruit dove found in Southeast Asia. It is known for its striking appearance, with a vibrant green body, a black nape, and a bright red bill. This species is often found in lowland forests and wooded areas, where it feeds on a variety of fruits and berries. The Black-naped Fruit Dove is known for its distinctive call, which is often heard echoing through the forest canopy. Although not currently considered threatened, habitat loss and deforestation are potential threats to its population.
