Black-tailed Trainbearer

The female is less colorful, with a greenish-bronze upperparts and a white-tipped tail. These birds are typically found in montane forests and adjacent shrubby areas, where they feed on nectar from flowers and small insects. They are known for their aerial acrobatics and distinctive buzzing sound. The Black-tailed Trainbearer is not currently considered at risk and is widely distributed within its range.
