Black-throated Accentor, Prunella atrogularis, is a passerine of the Palearctic, breeding in the central and south-western parts of the region, with a range that includes the Ural, Tian Shan and Altai Mountains. It is a migratory bird, and in winter it moves to Afghanistan and nearby countries. It is also a rare visitor to western Europe. The species was described by Brandt in 1843. It belongs to the Prunellidae, the accentors, and is placed in the order Passeriformes.
