Black-throated Grosbeak, Saltator fuliginosus, is a passerine of the tanager family in South America, breeding in eastern and south-eastern Brazil, eastern Paraguay and north-eastern Argentina. It is tied to humid Atlantic Forest. The adult male has a black face, throat and chest, while the species is otherwise very dark grey. Adults of both sexes have a red bill, though juveniles show a yellowish-dusky one. It is similar to the slate-coloured grosbeak, but that bird has a white throat.
