Suthora nipalensis

The Black-throated Parrotbill, scientifically known as Suthora nipalensis, is a small passerine bird found in the eastern Himalayas and parts of Southeast Asia. It is characterized by its distinctive black throat and bright yellow underparts. These social birds are often found in small flocks, foraging for insects and seeds in dense undergrowth. The Black-throated Parrotbill's melodious calls can often be heard in the bamboo thickets and scrubby areas where they reside.
