Black-throated Robin, Plesiodryas albonotata, is a passerine of the Australasian robin family and breeds in montane New Guinea. It was first described by Salvadori in 1875. Its range is on the island of New Guinea, where it occurs in subtropical or tropical moist montane forest between 1,150 and 2,750 metres above sea-level. The bird is the only member of the revived genus Plesiodryas. A white diagonal mark on the neck is its key identifying feature, setting it apart from similar birds.
