Calliope obscura (Berezowski & Bianchi, 1891)

Blackthroat, Calliope obscura, is a passerine of the Muscicapidae family that breeds in north-central China and spends the nonbreeding season in south-east Asia. It is tied to bamboo thickets in coniferous forest, at high elevations between 3000 and 3,400 metres. The bird was first described in 1891 by Berezowski and Bianchi. It has also been recorded as a stray in northwest Thailand. Its breeding grounds were only confirmed in 2011, and a female and breeding pair were noted in 2014.
