Blanford's Snowfinch, Pyrgilauda blanfordi, is a passerine in the sparrow family that breeds across the Tibetan Plateau in alpine stony and grassy steppe. Its range extends through south-eastern Xinjiang and Qinghai, and from northern and eastern Ladakh, northern Nepal and northern Sikkim to north-western Sichuan. The bird is named for William Thomas Blanford, the English zoologist. It was described by Hume in 1876.
