Blue-breasted Blue Flycatcher, Cyornis herioti, is a bird of the family Muscicapidae that breeds in northern and central Luzon in the Philippines. It is confined to the north and centre of the island and lives in tropical moist lowland forest, including lowland and foothill woodland, secondary growth with bamboo, and forest up to 1,200 m. The male’s blue breast is the feature that set it apart as a separate species. It is poorly known, usually seen alone or in pairs, and tends to feed close to the forest floor in dense understorey.
