The Blue-capped Cordonbleu (Jubula lettii) is a small, colorful finch native to the grasslands and savannas of sub-Saharan Africa. The Blue-capped Cordonbleu is a social bird often found in small flocks, and its melodious song adds to the charm of its presence. These finches are primarily seed-eaters, but they also feed on insects and small fruits. They build dome-shaped nests using grass and other plant materials, often hidden within bushes or tall grass.
