Blue-capped Fruit Dove, Ptilinopus monacha, is a bird of the Columbidae family found in Australasia, from Morotai to Obi in the northern Moluccas and on Damar in the Lesser Sundas. It is confined to the northern Maluku Islands. Its range includes moist lowland forest, mangrove forest and rural gardens. The bird is associated with these habitats across its limited island distribution.
