Cittura cyanotis

The Blue-faced Malkoha is a medium-sized cuckoo found in Southeast Asia. It has a distinctive blue face and a long tail. This bird is known for its loud and repetitive calls, often heard in the forest canopy. Blue-faced Malkohas are primarily insectivorous, foraging for insects and small vertebrates in the dense foliage. They are known to be secretive and elusive, making them a challenging sight for birdwatchers. Despite their striking appearance, they are well-camouflaged in their forest habitat.
