Blue-faced Rail, Gymnocrex rosenbergii, is a rail of Sulawesi, with breeding records from the Togian Islands and the Banggai Islands. It belongs to the family Rallidae and was described by Schlegel in 1866. It is a forest bird associated with moist lowland forest, moist shrubland and rivers. Its most striking feature is the bare cobalt-blue skin around the eye, which gives the bird its name. It is also known as bald-faced rail or Schlegel's rail.
