The Blue-fronted Redstart is a small passerine bird found in the Himalayas and parts of Southeast Asia. It is known for its striking blue forehead and black plumage, with the male having a distinctive red-orange belly. These birds prefer montane forests and can often be found near streams or in ravines. They are known for their active foraging behavior, hopping from rock to rock in search of insects and small invertebrates. The Blue-fronted Redstart is not currently considered to be at risk and is a delightful sight for birdwatchers in its range.
