Blue-rumped Manakin, Lepidothrix isidorei, is a passerine in the manakin family and breeds in South America from Colombia to Peru. It lives in humid subtropical forest in the Andean foothills, with the northern form extending along the eastern slopes of the Eastern Andes through Ecuador into northern Peru, and the southern form occurring in northern Peru. The two forms are separated by the Marañón River. The species was first described in 1852 and is now placed in Lepidothrix. It has two subspecies, and males of the nominate form show a white crown and nape with an azure rump.
