Blue-streaked Lory, Eos reticulata, is a parrot of the Tanimbar Islands in the southern Moluccas, within Australasia. It breeds there in primary forest and secondary growth, and also occurs in mangroves and on human-managed land such as coconut plantations. The species has no recognised subspecies. It is an Old World parrot in the family Psittaculidae, first described by Müller in 1841. Its range is restricted to a small area, and it is also affected by trapping for the pet trade and by habitat change, including logging and forest clearance for monocultures.
