Blue-throated Sunbird

The female is more subdued, with olive-green upperparts and a pale yellow throat. Blue-throated Sunbirds primarily feed on nectar from flowers, using their slender, curved bills to extract the sweet liquid. They also consume small insects and spiders as a source of protein. These sunbirds are often observed flitting among flowering trees and shrubs, emitting high-pitched calls as they forage for food.
