Blue-winged Leafbird, Chloropsis moluccensis, is a passerine of the Oriental Region, with a breeding range that is widespread there. It belongs to the leafbird family and was described by Gray, JE, in 1831. It occurs across Southeast Asia in forest and secondary growth, reaching Borneo and southern Sumatra. A key feature is the blue in its flight feathers. The male has a green body, a yellow-tinged head, a black face and throat, and a blue moustachial line. The female has a greener head and a blue throat, while young birds resemble her but lack the blue throat patch.
