Blue-winged Mountain Tanager, Anisognathus somptuosus, is a passerine in the Thraupidae family and breeds in South America from Venezuela to Bolivia. It occurs in Andean highland forest and woodland, with a separate population in the Venezuelan Coastal Range. In Bolivia and the far south of Peru, the rump is blue and the voice differs markedly, and this form is sometimes treated as the Bolivian mountain tanager, A. flavinucha.
