Blyth's Paradise Flycatcher, Terpsiphone affinis, is a bird of the Monarchidae family that breeds across the Oriental Region, from eastern Nepal and north-east India through southern China and Indochina to the Malay Peninsula and the Greater Sundas. It was described by Blyth in 1846. Its range includes north-east India, Indochina, Sumatra and Borneo. It is found in evergreen broadleaf forest, along forest margins, and in secondary growth, gardens and plantations, usually in lowland and foothill areas. Some populations move seasonally. It was once treated as part of the Asian paradise flycatcher, but was recognised as a separate species in 2015.
