Bob-tailed Weaver Brachycope anomala is a passerine bird in the family Ploceidae, the weavers and widowbirds. It occurs in Africa, breeding from south-eastern Cameroon and southern Central African Republic through the Republic of the Congo and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. It was described by Reichenow in 1887.
