Boran Cisticola, Cisticola bodessa, is a bird of the family Cisticolidae found in Ethiopia, Kenya and Uganda. It occurs in Africa, within dry forest, dry savanna and dry shrubland in subtropical or tropical regions. The species was described by Mearns in 1913. It belongs to the order Passeriformes and is part of the cisticolas and allies. Its recorded breeding range is in north-eastern Africa.
