Bougainville Fantail, Rhipidura drownei, is a passerine in the Rhipiduridae family found in montane Bougainville in the Solomon Islands. It is confined to mountain forest above 700 metres, with adults usually occurring above 900 metres and reaching at least 1600 metres. The bird is a small fantail with a long tail that is often fanned out. Its plumage is mainly brown, with greyer upperparts and paler underparts, and it shows a white eyebrow. The nest is a small cup with a short hanging tail, bound together with cobwebs and placed about 2 m up in a fork.
