Myiophobus flavicans

The Bran-colored Flycatcher is a small, insectivorous bird found in South America. It is known for its olive-brown upperparts and yellow underparts, with a distinctive white eyering. This species is often found in the canopy of humid forests, where it perches and sallies to catch flying insects. It is known for its distinctive call, a sharp 'wheep' sound. The Bran-colored Flycatcher is a migratory bird, breeding in the Andes and wintering in the Amazon basin. Although not currently considered threatened, habitat loss and deforestation are potential threats to its populations.
