Myiophobus fasciatus
The Bran-colored Flycatcher is a small, insect-eating bird found in South America. It has a distinctive olive-brown back and wings, with a pale gray throat and belly. This species is known for its sharp, high-pitched call and active foraging behavior, often perching in the mid-story of forests and woodlands. Bran-colored Flycatchers are known to breed in open woodlands, edges of forests, and second-growth habitats. They primarily feed on insects and are often observed making aerial sallies to catch their prey. This species is not currently considered to be at risk and is fairly common throughout its range.
