Bronzy Jacamar, Galbula leucogastra, is a bird of the Galbulidae family found in southern Venezuela, the Guianas, western and central Brazil, and northern Bolivia. It was described by Vieillot in 1817. It is a monotypic species and was once treated as the same species as the purplish jacamar, though the two are now placed in a superspecies. Birds from eastern Brazil near the Tapajós River were proposed as a separate form, but that was not accepted. It has also been thought to hybridise with the green-tailed jacamar in Suriname.
