Prunella fulvescens

The Brown Accentor (Prunella fulvescens) is a small, sparrow-like bird found in the mountainous regions of central Asia. It is characterized by its brown plumage with streaked patterns on the back and a pale underside. These birds are often found in alpine meadows, rocky slopes, and scrubby areas, where they forage for insects, seeds, and berries. Brown Accentors are known for their melodious, flute-like songs, which they use to communicate and establish territories. Their populations are currently stable, and they are not considered to be at risk according to the IUCN Red List.
