Brown-billed Scythebill, Campylorhamphus pusillus, is a bird of Middle and South America, breeding from Costa Rica to northern Peru. It belongs to the ovenbird family Furnariidae and was described by Sclater in 1860. Its most notable feature is a very long, strongly downcurved bill. The species has five named subspecies, and some treatments have split or merged certain forms. It lives in humid evergreen forest, especially cloudforest in the middle elevations, and is also found in mature secondary forest. Its range is discontinuous across Central America and the Andes.
